Verifying Registered CE Providers

Dental Board of California Approved Providers

To determine if a CE provider is approved by the Dental Board of CA, you will utilize the online DCA BreEZe License Search Tool available on both the DHBC and DBC website homepages (www.dhbc.ca.gov or www.dbc.ca.gov). This tool will also allow you to see which CE Providers are qualified to teach mandatory courses and whether their CE Provider Permit License is current and valid.

The registered CE provider must have a "Current-Active" permit that is not "Expired" to be valid.
Follow these instructions when access is provided for a License Search (DHBC website) or License Verification (DBC website).

  • Boards and Bureaus: DENTAL BOARD OF CALIFORNIA
  • License Type: Registered CE Provider Permit
  • You may either use their CE Provider License Number OR Business Name
